Same problem with 0.1.3

And too now the friend module shows no \"dj phil\" and \"phil dj\" friends.

I try to create a new user \'test1 test1\' but same problem ...
I can\'t connect to my Sim with test1.

... but when you create another user (e.g. test2 test2) manually with the console, everything is fine?

Yes, work fine with new user \"test2\" create manually with robust console command.

I just saw your post in \"mod_opensim_gridstatus\" - [Bug] Online Now and that opened my eyes to what is the problem - definately a bug in the component ... or rather in my brain <img src=\"{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_wink.gif\" alt=\"\" title=\"Wink\" />

An empty region UID does not exist and the location <,,0> also isnt really valid. The component needs to check, if the default region is set, and if not, it has to take any random region (preferably the one of position 1000,1000 in regions.ini if present) and set the location to <128,128,20> (middle of the map on sea level) ... or, not at all add a line into the table \"GridUser\" since OpenSim will automatically send the user to a region and will give that message \"... region is not present, will send you to location nearby...\".

Note that the regions can easily be at 5000, 5000 or 6000, 6000 and the sea level at 20.5 or 21 ...

That\'s true! I now made it that there is no line at all in the table \"GridUser\" if no default region is defined. Let OpenSim decide, where to place the user <img src=\"{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_wink.gif\" alt=\"\" title=\"Wink\" />

I do not know if it\'s really good to place the new user at random on a sim at random. Logically I think we should place the new user to the first region in Region.ini is normally the region comes the new user.

sure, but from the external view - as the component is - it can not have a direct look to the Region.ini. If I leave the line in the table \"GridUser\", OpenSim takes care where to place the user and I guess, it then takes the first region in it\'s Region.ini. So better not fooling around with something where the dev\'s of opensim probably though a lot about it anyway already.
