ScopeID value

Working on a new service module for jOpenSim, I'm in touch with the GridServicesConnector stuff. During this one question came up:

In the table "regions" is a column called "ScopeID". Until now, I always found a zero UUID in there (00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000).

Does anyone have some other value in there and if yes, why?

as far as i saw the scope id is being used on mega regions which are deeded to a group

actually there is a good use for this as an undocumented opensim feature. It allows mutliple grids to co-exist in the same database. The ScopeID is the ID that separates the different grids, by default there is only one grid, which is the zeroUUID.
