Problem driving me crazy email will not validate

Ok this is crazy and it has been going on for a couple of months, several different installs and different machines .. I am about to give up on jopensim ..

I enter an email, all info correct click save and BAM it says invalid email address .. IT IS NOT INVALID!!

Also from the front end profiles will not save , you can see them but they will not update when saving ..

PHP 5.5 Mysql 5.5 and a pissed off user ..

I mean PHP 5.5 and Mysql 5.6

Time to move on from jopensim I guess ...

Even a box that cannot be changed on creating an inworld account throws the error .. I am really beside myself with this error ... I am not the only one getting it , but the others have already given up on jopensim due to lack of updates ..

Ok found a way around it .. your pregmail matches were failing no matter what I did, could be a character encoding issue. But regardless, I ripped them out completely .. Sooo I don't have email validation, but don't really care as long as it works at this point .. Really tired of working this hard to use something that is supposed to help.

Yeah I'm grumpy, excuse the apparent tone of my posts, but the facts don't change ..


I have spent many nights trying to find an answer to this that did not involve me hacking away at the code ...

I guess I am an idiot ..

Installed this dozens of times always got this error ..

Last time .. the error is gone .. I think the exorcism might have worked. .
